Have you been without diving lately and need a quick dive refresh?
The ReActivate ™ program is the perfect way to update your diving skills and knowledge before jumping.
back to the water. ReActivate is personalized for you: You review diving concepts comfortably in digital form,
and then you will go diving with a PADI Professional. Best of all, divers who complete both the review
for knowledge such as water skills receive a replacement certification card with the ReActivated date on it. Any PADI certified diver who wants a dive refresher or upgrade should do
the ReActivate. Dive shops appreciate seeing a recent ReActivate date on your certification card.
If you want to know about diving in a new area or in different diving conditions, ask to complete a Discover Local Diving experience at your local dive site.
You will use the basic diving equipment including a mask, tube, fins, regulator, vest, and a diving bottle.
The protective suit you need will depend on whether you are diving in confined water or open water.
* Your PADI certification does not expire. Participation in PADI ReActivate ™ is not required, but is recommended as an easy way to refresh your fundamental safety knowledge and skills if you have not been diving in a while.

There are two mandatory dives – Depth and Underwater Navigation – and you will choose the other three.
In the Deep Adventure Dive, you will learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects
and the challenges of diving deeper.
On the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive, hone your compass navigation skills and help you navigate better using fin cycles, visual cues, and time.
The other knowledge and skills you will acquire will vary with your interests and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and much more.
In addition to using basic scuba gear, you will need a compass and a scuba knife or scuba tool.
You will also use specialized equipment depending on the Adventure Dives you choose. For example, you will use a drysuit for the Dry Suit Adventure Dive or a sidemount configuration during the Sidemount Adventure Dive. Your PADI Instructor will suggest additional equipment, such as a scuba flashlight for diving
at night or a lifting bag for search and recovery diving.
